The Summit Express chairlift runs until 10:00 p.m. for mountain-top fireworks viewing.Typical Mountain Boys perform at the base lodge from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and food and beverages are available. The show costs $10 per carload. This event is limited to Aurora residents only.

SUMMIT Fourth of July Celebration, July 4 activities, concert and fireworks at Soldiers Memorial Field, Ashland Road, are canceled. The Canfield Fair Board is holding a 4th of July fireworks display thanks to the support of local sponsors.
Although Summit's Fourth of July celebration has been canceled, officials are working to replace it with a smaller, scaled-down celebration that meets social distancing and crowd size guidelines.
